My child,
I am
the Rock;
your Rock,
in whom
is your anchor.
I am
your shelter;
your protection.
Sometimes
you stray
whether deliberately
or unintentionally
and then
you find yourself
outside
the harbour.
There you encounter
strong winds
and
stormy seas
and you are afraid.
But
you need have no fear
because
you are anchored;
anchored in the Rock
and this Rock
cannot move.
You cannot stray
too far.
Turn.
Turn around
and look.
Look at Me.
My arms are wide enough
to enfold you.
My arms are strong enough
to protect you.
My arms are gentle enough
to comfort you
and
My arms are open now
to receive you.
Come.
Come to Me now.
Look at Me.
Raise your head
and
look at Me.
I know that
you are hurting
and I long for you
to give
that hurt,
that pain,
to Me.
Let Me have it.
I can bear it.
I have already borne it.
It cannot hurt Me
again.
Let it go.
Look up.
Look at Me.
I am standing
in front of you.
See Me.
Fix your eyes on Me.
Learn to do this
until
you can see Me present
in every conversation;
in every meeting;
in every situation:
until
you are aware
of My presence
ever before you;
ever beside you;
ever within you.
I long for you to know
that I am there;
that I am your shield;
that I am your hiding place.
I am
your Rock.
My child,
I will keep you safe.
