Today

My child,
I have given you
today;
this day.
Do not waste it
dwelling
on yesterday.
Give yesterday
to Me;
all the hurt;
all the pain,
and
I will deal with it.
I will take it
from you
and
bear it
for you.
And,
do not waste
this day
worrying
about tomorrow.
You do not know
My plans
for your tomorrow
but
I do.
You must trust Me.
Why do you not yet
trust Me?
Do you not yet believe;
Do you not yet know
how much
I love you?
You need to believe;
you need to know
that I am there;
that I will be there
with you
whatever happens.
Nothing is outside
My control.
So,
take today,
this day,
as My gift
to you
and enjoy it.
Seek Me
always;
in everything.
I am there
whether in the sunshine
or in the rain.
If you look for Me,
really look,
you will catch glimpses
of Me.
My child
I long for you
to believe;
to know
that I am there
walking beside you;
watching over you.
I delight in you.
I enjoy being with you,
always;
ever.
You are Mine
and I love you.
My child,
I long for you to know;
to really know,
that I love you.
