Holy Fire

Turn aside.
Look.
See the fire.
See the flames.
Stand.
Be still.
This is Holy Ground.
Take off your shoes.
Stand.
Look
Look into the flames.
Do you see what is there?
Do you see yourself
engulfed in the flames?
Do you hear them roar?
Do you feel their heat?
Do not be afraid.
Look closer.
You are not harmed.
You are not touched by the flames.
Not a hair of your head is scorched.
Do not fear.
Look again.
How many people do you see?
Are there not two people
in the fire?
You are not alone.
I am with you.
I am there
protecting you;
sharing this fire
with you.
See it for what it is.
It is no threat.
Rather
it is a refining fire.
It will burn away
the dross.
It cannot harm you,
the real you.
I love you
too much
to let any harm
come to you.
Look.
Look at the flames.
See them not
as destructive.
See them
as My Glory;
My Glory
shining
all around.
This is Holy Fire;
This is Holy Ground
for where
I am
is Holy.
And
I am
with you,
My precious child.
