Living Water

Yes
I do know
your deepest desires.
I have heard
your prayers.
But
do not look for Me
in the spectacular.
I am not there.
I do not stand on the pinnacle
of the Temple.
Rather
I am waiting
quietly,
alone
at the well
in the desert.
Waiting for you
to come
to Me
as part of
your daily work;
your daily routine.

And
I can,
and
I will
transform
that daily work;
that daily routine
quietly,
gently,
lovingly.
I have
the living water
you crave;
the living water
that will
renew you;
refresh you;
revitalise you.

I am
the Living Water.
Drink
of Me
and quench your thirst,
daily,
hourly.

This well
will never run dry.
There will never
be a time
when this water
is not there;
when
I am not there
when you come.
