My Ways

I tell you,
you are where I would have you be;
you are doing what I would have you do.
Do not look for other tasks,
they are not for you, not yet.
Do not look at others and wish to be like them.
I do not want this for you.
I have placed you where I want you to be.
I give you tasks I want you to do.
I send to you people I want you to meet.
There are some things only you can do,
things only you can say.
You do not know My thoughts.
They are not your thoughts.
You do not know My ways.
They are not your ways.
My thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
My ways are higher than your ways.
But you are a part of My plan,
A very special part.

Each day I am with you
whether you are aware of Me
or not.
I share each moment with you
whether good
or bad.
And some will be bad.
It is part of life
that there will be pain and sadness.
These times are hard for you.
I know your pain;
your sadness;
your struggles.
Never, never doubt this.
But know that I take each moment
and weave it into My eternal plan.
You may not understand.
You may never understand
but I want you to know
that I am in control;
that there is a purpose;
a plan;
My plan.
All things do work together for good
for those who love Me.
I promise you that.
But I need you to trust Me.
I am there for you to lean on.
I am there to carry you if necessary.
I am there beside you.
I cry with you.
I suffer with you
And I also rejoice with you
and for you
when you are glad.

At the end of each day,
come to Me;
share with Me
the times of joy;
the times of pain;
the times when you have been surprised;
the times when you have been concerned.
It is pleasing for Me
to share like this with you
as an earthly father delights
to share with his child.

And you are My child,
My precious child.
